Board of Trustees

Lincoln Electric Cooperative's (LEC) nine-person Board of Trustees is elected by the members from the general membership of LEC. Each one brings a unique set of skills and knowledge to the Board. Collectively, they are responsible for establishing, reviewing, and revising corporate policies to ensure that LEC continues to keep service to the membership foremost in mind, while maintaining a stable, yet competitive, position in the industry.

Your LEC trustees know about the need to stay involved with our communities. They know the necessity of running LEC in a responsible fashion. They know that the members come first. How do they know? Because they are LEC members who live and work right here in LEC's service territory and they are dedicated to making life a little better for us all.

LEC's service area is divided into two districts, both of which have at least two representatives on the board. Board members serve three-year terms with three trustees elected each spring and announced at the Annual Meeting.
