Member Services
Activate Service
To activate an existing Lincoln Electric service, please contact our office. We will need to determine what is required for your specific service location. If you would like to install new electrical service, please find information on new service installation here.
New Membership
Individual and Joint Account
If you will be a new Lincoln Electric member, you must return a completed Member Information Form to Lincoln Electric. Please complete the first page, then sign and date the second page. If it is to be a joint account, both new members must complete their information and provide signatures. Keep in mind that we will be able to discuss the account only with the member(s) who have submitted their information and signature on the Member Information Form.
multi-owner account
If you are applying for membership as a corporation, partnership, political body, or non-profit group, you will need to complete the applicable Member Information Form. You will also need to contact us for information on the supporting documents required for non-individual membership.
Credit Determination
For any new or additional service, Lincoln Electric will need to evaluate your credit basis to determine deposit requirements. If no good credit history can be established, an account deposit will be required to activate the existing service on your account. The deposit is calculated at two and a half times (2.5x) the highest bill or a fixed amount ($200 for 200 Amp, $400 for 400 Amp), whichever is greater. After you have established 12 months of good payment history with Lincoln Electric, your deposit will be refunded as a credit to your account. If you are being assessed a deposit, you may want to consider participating in our Flex Advantage Program.
Activation Process
Once all paperwork and payments have been received by Lincoln Electric, we will provide service to an existing location as quickly as possible.
Please note that if the service you wish to activate has been inactive or on line retention for 12 months or longer, you will need to provide Lincoln Electric with proof of a State of Montana electrical permit and inspection prior to the service being re-energized.
SmartHub
As a Lincoln Electric member, you can take advantage of our SmartHub online account management system. Once you have an active account, you can enroll in SmartHub, where you can pay your bill, check your usage, personalize your notifications, and sign up for our AutoPay program.
