Levelized Budget Billing

We offer a Budget Billing program, where our system calculates a “Budget Amount Due” each month based on your 12-month average billed amounts. Enrollment is open from April 1st through June 30th, and at that time, the base budget amount would be set to an average whole dollar amount. Each month the system determines the amount needed to stay on budget, which may vary depending on your energy usage for that billing cycle due to fluctuations in energy consumption. To participate, the current account balance must be paid in full so the system can accurately calculate the next billing cycle.

Once enrolled, your bill will show an additional row for the “Budget Amount Due,” which is the amount required to pay. The “Actual Balance” reflects your true account balance, but Budget Billing is designed to build credit during lower-usage months to offset higher bills in winter.

Requirements:

·         12-month minimum of billing history for the LOCATION

·         Actual Balance paid in full before setting up Budget Billing

·         Enrollment Period: April 1st-June 30th
